Mission Statement
To foster an awareness and appreciation of the Batesville area's unique history, the Batesville Area Historical Society researches, collects, preserves and promotes the material culture and history of the Batesville, Indiana area. Our efforts will ensure that present and future generations can share in and understand their rich heritage.

Meeting Schedule and Location
The Batesville Area Historical Society is actively seeking members. Our meetings are open to the public, and are at 7:00pm, usually at the Batesville Memorial Public Library. Please refer to the homepage for the dates.

Membership is $15.00 for 1 year per person. Our Membership year runs from July 1-June 30 of the next year.
