5 & 10 Cent Stores
In 1910, Andrews' 5 & 10 set up business in the corner room of a building
on the southwest corner of Main and George Streets. McFarren's 5 & 10
opened in 1914, later becoming the Lockwood 5 & 10 and moving further west
into the brick Walsman building. IN 1922, C. E. Studebaker and A. V.
Trumper bought the store. Eventually it became known as The Fair Store.
